Chef Pat is Patricia Zempol Stewart, a Personal Chef who
architects delicious, personalized meals showing imagination and
creativity for appreciative clients. Pat's intensity, enthusiasm,
and "casual chic" style are evident in the meals she prepares and
the happiness of the recipients.
Pat's passion for cooking was inspired when she was 7, baking Christmas
cookies with her mother. By the time she was a teenager, Pat had
become the cook for her family and eagerly learned how to follow
recipes, develop meal plans, and create memorable events.
While she pursued a business career, she honed her cooking skills
and tested recipes on friends, family, and coworkers.

This led to the catering of events, which allowed Pat to use her
imagination and continue to expand her culinary repertoire.
The Culinary Institute of America at Greystone beckoned--how
wonderful to be in the wine country and cook with some top professional
chefs at the same time! More than 90 hours of training at the CIA
helped further develop her culinary ability.
Pat also applies her skills to community activities--helping caregivers
of chronically ill patients by giving them a weekly "night off"
from cooking; participation in team-based, large scale meal preparation
for indigent guests; lunch preparation at an Alzheimers daycare
center; and special gourmet dinners to raise money for favorite
charities.
In 2001, Pat decided it was time to trade in her business suit
for a chef's jacket, and built on these experiences to launch Chef
on the Go. She takes delight in indulging others with her creative
menu planning, artful adaptation of recipes, and genuine love of
great food, as she fulfills her dream.
Pat is a licensed Food Service Professional, a certified Safe Food
Handler, and a member of the American Personal Chef Association.
She carries liability insurance.
